
Dog Friendly Beaches in Orange County
Looking for a place where you and your pal can enjoy some fun in the sun? Orange County offers several fantastic dog friendly beaches where you can do just that!

Huntington Dog Beach
This is Orange County's premier dog beach! Located between Seapoint Street and 21st Street in Huntington Beach, this 1.5-mile stretch of sand is a paradise for dogs and their owners. Dogs are allowed off-leash, and can run, play and swim in the ocean.
Location: Between Seapoint Street and 21st Street, Huntington Beach
Hours: 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily
Rules:
- Dogs must be under voice control
- Clean up after your dog
- Aggressive dogs not allowed
- Current license and vaccinations required

Corona del Mar State Beach
While not officially a dog beach, leashed dogs are allowed before 10 AM and after 4:30 PM. This beautiful beach offers stunning views and is perfect for a morning or evening walk with your furry friend.
Location: Ocean Boulevard, Corona del Mar
Hours: Dogs allowed before 10 AM and after 4:30 PM
Rules:
- Dogs must be on leash
- Clean up after your dog
- Not allowed between 10 AM and 4:30 PM

Seal Beach
Located just north of Orange County, Seal Beach offers a wonderful environment for dogs and their owners. While dogs must be leashed, the wide sandy beach and gentle waves make it a perfect spot for a seaside stroll.
Location: Main Street Beach, Seal Beach
Hours: 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily

- Dogs must be on leash at all times
- Clean up after your dog
- Keep dogs away from wildlife

Laguna Beach
While Laguna Beach has restrictions on dogs during peak hours, you can still enjoy early morning or evening walks with your leashed dog at several of its beautiful beaches.
Location: Various beaches in Laguna Beach
Hours: Before 9 AM and after 6 PM (June through September)

- Dogs must be on leash
- Not allowed during peak hours in summer
- Clean up after your dog
Tips for Beach Visits
